Got questions? We’re here to help
Planning a trip can bring up lots of questions—that’s why we’ve gathered the answers to the ones we hear most often. From booking details to what to bring on the day, you’ll find everything you need to know right here.
The majority of our fleet is equipped with on board Wi-Fi which is free to all passengers. The service is based on mobile data so the signal may be lost on parts of the journey or in more rural areas. We recommend you download any essential information prior to boarding as we cannot guarantee a good connection once we are moving. We are continuously working with our provider to improve the service but certain issues such as network coverage are outside of our control.
Our coaches do not have toilet facilities. However, our drivers make multiple rest stops during the course of the tours. Should you require an extra bathroom stop, please notify your driver/guide.
Your tour guide will meet you at the Molly Malone statue, on Suffolk Street at the designated start time. From here you will have a short walk to the bus which will be parked nearby. Please check the time that your tour departs and arrive 10-15 minutes before departure.
Yes, you can store your luggage in the storage area on the bus for the duration of your tour, just ask the driver at the start of the day to open it for you and don’t forget to take it with you at the end of the day. If you wish to store your luggage in the city at any time during your stay in Dublin you can do so at either of our Tourist offices at 37 College Green or 69 O’Connell St.
All of our tours include lunch stops; you have to keep your energy up! You can bring a lunch with you, of course. You may sit outside – hopefully in glorious sunshine – and eat your packed lunch. Or visit one the local cafes/restaurants/pubs at your designated stop.
We require a minimum number of 6 to operate a tour. We give until 3pm the day prior to the tour to reach this number and will then contact customers with details of cancellation
Some of our buses have USB charging ports at each seat which are very handy for charging mobile electronic devices. At present this is not available on all of our fleet, so if you intend to use your devices regularly during the tour and are concerned about battery life, we recommend you carry a portable battery to top up your device during the day.
Our day tours are only offered in English.
If you are looking to book a private tour and would like the tour to be conducted in another language, we will try our best to provide this service for you. This is strictly on a case-by-case basis, as we cannot guarantee the service for every request. Speak to our Sales team on +353 1 9073265 or email sales@eitravelgroup.ie

In the event of a cancellation, a transferable voucher or credit note will be issued to be redeemed at a later date.
If you cancel your day tour within 24 hours you can choose to change your tour departure to another date (subject to availability).
If you are traveling on our day tours and have booked via our websites all terms and conditions are the same and if you are late for the bus in the morning or are a no-show, you will get fully charged for the tour that you have booked as we have reserved a seat or seats for you.
A car seat is not mandatory, however for safety reasons, we would recommend it is used on our tours. You can bring your own car seat on board for free, or you can rent one for €15.
