Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs of Moher are among Ireland's seven natural wonders. This stunning landscape stretches 10 km in length and rises over 200 metres in height, offering breathtaking views from every direction. There's nothing quite like the experience of standing atop these dramatic cliffs. Let us take you to O'Brien's Tower, where incredible views of the sea and the countryside await. From majestic clifftops, we then head further inland to experience some of the best of the Irish landscape.

The Burren

It's an early start for this tour, leaving Dublin at 6:50 AM and traversing remarkable scenery on the way to the Cliffs of Moher — with an expected arrival at 11:00 AM. There’ll be plenty of time to take in the views and learn more about the history of the famous Cornelius O'Brien at what’s often called “the edge of the world.” After soaking up the atmosphere, we head to the charming village of Doolin for lunch.

Galway City

After lunch, we visit The Burren at 2:00 PM, a region defined by its signature limestone pavements and surreal rock formations that give it a one-of-a-kind character. From there, we continue on to Galway City at 3:45 PM — Ireland’s colourful and cultural “City of Tribes.” Our day concludes with a return journey through the Irish countryside, arriving back in Dublin around 7:30 PM.

DEPART DUBLIN

Our Dublin to Cliffs of Moher bus departure is from Suffolk Street at the statue of Molly Malone. You can find a map to this location on the booking page. There's time for a quick meet and greet with your guide and your fellow travellers, before we hit the road at 6:50 PM.

11:00 am
THE CLIFFS OF MOHER

The main event on this tour — we reach the Cliffs of Moher a little before 11:00 AM. There's much to explore here, so we give you plenty of time to take in the might and majesty this place has to offer. And maybe take a few photos too!

12:45 am
DOOLIN - LUNCH

To keep your strength up on The Cliffs of Moher from our Dublin day tour, we'll stop off for lunch at Doolin Village at 12:45 PM. This is really a great place to sample the local culinary culture, and you'll find plenty of great food options.

2:00 pm
THE BURREN

Next stop: The Burren. Arriving here around 2:00 PM, we've got a good bit of time to explore what is truly a unique location — think spectacular limestone pavements and unique rock formations that can't be found elsewhere..

3:45 pm
GALWAY CITY

We arrive at the Bohemian city of Galway at 3:45 PM. Of course, the pubs are great, but there's plenty to enjoy outside with the lively street performers too.

7:30 pm
ARRIVE TO DUBLIN

All good things come to an end, even our Cliffs of Moher from Dublin tour! We're back in the capital by 7:30 PM, dropping you off where we picked you up this morning — at the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street. Things to Bring

When you book the Moher Cliffs from Dublin day tour, it’s vital that you are prepared. The following list gives you a good idea of what to bring.

  • A raincoat for wet Irish weather — we can’t guarantee sunshine, we’re afraid.
  • A hat and sunscreen for sunny Irish weather — it does get sunny sometimes, though!
  • Sunglasses for glare on the road
  • A phone, headphones, and charger
  • Medications and personal care items
  • Water and snacks for the journey

Whenever you do a day trip from Dublin, dressing appropriately is going to be important. It gets pretty uneven around the cliff tops, for example, and comfortable, supportive walking shoes are a good idea.
