Things to Bring

Our Wicklow Day tours from Dublin take in natural wonders and historic sights over more than eight hours. We’re all about comfort and convenience for everyone on our trips. To make sure you get the very best out of the tour, it’s advisable to bring the following:
– Camera
– Sunglasses
– Raincoat – just in case it rains!
– Headphones to listen to the commentary on the multilingual app
– Charging cable and power bank to keep your devices charged (some buses do have charging ports but not all)
– Spending money / credit card to pick up souvenirs & tip your driver!

Appropriate shoes for walking on rough terrain. If you can predict one thing about Ireland’s weather, you can’t predict it. Stay prepared, and dress for the conditions. Comfortable and supportive shoes are useful too — the terrain may be beautiful, but it can get a little uneven out there

Smiles and Stories from Our Travelers

“I did like the places I visited, but having been there before, I must say they have changed greatly. Powerscourt waterfall has become more like a public park where people are spending the day and having a barbecue, and Glendalough was so crowded with people that in some places you couldn’t hear your own words. I just wish people would show more respect for ancient places like these. The views were stunning and the tour guide very knowledgeable, transportation was comfortable and we were very well looked after.“

“Guide Matthew was great! This was an amazing way to see more of the country. We met up at the statue and got out right on time. The bus was very comfortable! Driver had so many fun educational stories about Ireland as we drove. Gorgeous countryside roads with lots of sheep! We went to a scenic overview, got to explore and take photos. Then we stopped in the town of Hollywood, got to explore a bit, and went to the cafe and got trinkets. Next we went to Glendalough and had time to explore and do part of a hike. There was an optional guided tour by Matthew! We chose to explore on our own though. Then we went to a delicious spot for lunch! We got to eat outside (was optional to sit inside or out). Then we did the waterfall, and had time to do a short hike and explore! This was my first guided tour, and I loved being able to get transportation without needing to rent a car or drive. Highly recommend for a fun day trip!“

“The trip was just amazing, the driver and our guide Alec was really nice, he gave us a lot of interesting information about Ireland, Dublin and places we visited. We had time for pictures and ourselves so we could go where we wanted. That was our first time and not the last one! Highly recommend!“

“Warwick was an excellent guide - he had an easygoing sense of humour while being extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Irish history. We especially enjoyed the sheepdog demonstration & petting the hardworking border collies on the farm after they corralled the sheep. Glendalough was great, too- the history around St. Kevin was very interesting! We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Warwick, and Karl was a skilled driver on the Wicklow mountains and narrow roads. Warwick kept the group entertained on the way back with some Irish music! This tour is very much worth the money for a memorable day in the Irish countryside.“
